All successful oral presenters must register for the meeting as a delegate before 15th August 2022. They are required to email their PowerPoint presentation to the Secretariat by 30th September 2022.

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
All abstract must comply with the Format below.

The abstract should be as informative as possible and include the following details:
  1. Introduction: background and specific objective of the study
  2. Methods: description of methods used
  3. Results: summary of results obtained
  4. Conclusion: conclusion reached

Abstracts must meet the following specifications:

  • Abstract should be accompanied by the authors' names, departments and institutions.
  • Abstract text: Limited to 350 words (NOT including Authors and Affiliations)
  • Abstract topic: Abstract must be allocated to a specific topic from below :-
    • Knee
    • Shoulder
    • Elbow
    • Hip
    • Foot and Ankle
    • Others

Abstract submission is to be done online at our conference website.

The maximum number of words for abstract content is 350 words (excluding title, names and details of authors).

Use only standard abbreviations. Special or unusual abbreviations are not recommended. If otherwise necessary, the latter should be placed in parenthesis after the first mentioned of the full word.

All abstracts must be submitted and presented in clear English with accurate grammar and spelling of a quality suitable for publication.

Ensure that all changes, corrections and proof reading have been carried out before your submission. Once you have submitted, you will not be able to edit the information given.

Successful abstracts will be published in MAS website unless informed by the applicant that he/she does not want the abstract to be published.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Can I submit more than 1 abstract?
Yes, you may submit more than 1 abstract. The account login you create will allow you to submit multiple abstracts.

Which email should I use to create the account?
When you create your account, the email you use should be the same email for all correspondence and e certificates to be delivered to. For Malaysians, please use the same email address which you use for your CPD points.

What happens if I want to amend my abstracts after I have submitted?
You may amend your abstracts until 30th June 2022, after which you will not be able to amend your abstract anymore. The responsibility is on the abstract submitter to ensure that the contents uploaded into the abstract is correct and have been proofread for errors.

What happens after the abstract submission deadline?

Abstract Review

All abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee.

The Committee reserves the rights to:

  1. Select the abstracts relevant to the session.
  2. Decide on the final form of presentation (Oral or Poster presentation).
